The Semi-Automatic Sniper System (SASS) is a precision rifle platform designed to provide rapid, accurate fire at extended ranges while maintaining the flexibility of a semi-automatic action. The SASS is normally chambered in 7.62 NATO or 6.5 Creedmoor and typically features a 20-22″ match-grade barrel, free-floating handguard, and suppressor-ready muzzle. It includes an adjustable stock for shooter fit and mission adaptability, along with a full-length Picatinny rail system for mounting high-powered optics (often 3.5–10x or higher), night vision, and accessories. The SASS is intended for use by designated marksmen and snipers in roles where precision and rate of fire must be balanced, offering effective engagement out to 800–1,000 meters in both offensive and overwatch roles. Its semi-automatic operation allows for quick follow-up shots, making it highly effective in dynamic battlefield environments.
